Marysville, Ohio, April 4 - Commitment to continuous improvement and prevention of pollution, along with a willingness to comply with relevant legislation and regulations led to ISO 14001 certification at Denison's Vierzon, France vane manufacturing facility.

Focusing on the environment, ISO 14001 is a complement to ISO 9000 quality standards.

This environmentally friendly attitude began in the 1980s in the European Nordic countries, where people are very sensitive to their "natural wealth." Acid rains threatened wild life, natural resources and everything related, including business and industry. Action was taken to find manufacturers such as Denison that would not pollute and take an active part in creating and maintaining a safe environment for future generations.
